My mummy was born 28th July 1949 . She was the second oldest in a family of 9. She had one brother
and 7 sisters . My mummy met my daddy and the two of them got married on 8th August 1969. Little did
she know that the 8th August would play a significant role in her life much later on. My mummy and
daddy had a happy marriage . They were best friends. She worked all her life in a stitching factory
til she became ill and was unable to do so anymore. Together my mummy and daddy had five kids . The
oldest Seamus was killed when he was just 18 on 8th August 1988.....my 13th birthday and mummy and
daddys wedding anniversary.I really miss her . She was the heart of our family. The one who bound us
together. My mummy was a lady. a great mum wife sister daughter and friend. Anyone who knew her was
blessed as she made an impact on everybody she spoke too. Our lives have never and will never be the
same since my mummy passed away.she has missed so much not only in her kids lives but in the lives
of all her grandkids she never got to meet. Her laughter love and smiles are memories we ll treasure
forever.

my mum s legacy is for her children to be safe, happy and to live a fruitful life, and to grow into
respectable adults. she showed her kids ... my dad and everybody she met much love courage and
respect and she would love all her family and friends to do the same.

SEAMUS MORRIS ... born 28th February 1940.....died 4th September 2003.aged 63...
my daddy was a right character......he could laugh and joke with the best of them and people hated
to be on the wrong end of his slegging....I must say he loved a wee drink......guinness and
whiskey....and half an ounce of old holbourne he was a happy man....he was a member of the
Shamrock..or should we say a fixture of the Shamrock...he loved going there and catching up with his
auld mates and passing the days in......towards the end when he couldnt make it down there it nearly
killed him......I think my daddy died of a broken heart.. he was never the same once my mummy passed
away ....it was like he was.....half the person he used to be ..his life changed so much from the
moment she died...he lost his wife and his best friend...and i know now he s happy up there with my
mummy and oldest brother seamus

I MISS MY OLD MAN ....SLEEP WELL IN MUMMYS ARMS .... I KNOW YOUR HAPPY NOW..XXX

a wee song from my daddy to my mummy

You placed gold on my finger
You brought love like I've never known
You gave life to our children
And to me, a reason to go on.

You're my bread when I'm hungry
You're my shelter from troubled winds
You're my anchor in life's ocean
But most of all, you're my best friend

When I need hope and inspiration
You're always strong when I'm tired and weak
I could search this whole world over
You'd still be everything that I need.

MY DADDY
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,
He called it ... Dad

.....I know that we had a good relationship, and I know that you knew how I loved you. I just wish
that I told you more often.

SEAMUS MORRIS....My big brother . He looked after us all and we all looked up to him. I remember him
with pride. He was really smart and loved art . He passed his 11 plus and went to St Malachys
College. I know this was a big thing for my mummy and she was really proud of him. seamus was a fun
loving fella who had many friends. he loved playing snooker and played gaelic for the local gaa club
for many years. His best friend was my brother Conor . the two of them did everything together. On
8th August while standing talking to his friend my brother was shot dead. No_one was ever charged
for his murder. He was only 18. He had applied for a job in the fire service . he had so much to
give and wanted to make something of his life.He was basically just a typical fella who loved life
and his family. He loved hanging out with his mates and just having a good time. His death changed
our family forever. i miss him xx

I created this site for everyone who knew my family and who s lives have been touched by these great
people. feel free to leave tributes and light candles so their memories will live on xxxx

i miss you our maggie

My big sister
Always there to whisper"
I'm here"
When i was little
I used to pretend I was you
Always dressing up in your old clothes
It made me feel so special
As we grew older
We were still close as could be
It was always you and me
But you and me forever-It couldn't be
You got older first
Make-Up
Hair
Boys
Everything seemed to be coming before me
Then i grew up tooand that was the endof me and you
We grew apart but we are still
Sisters at heart!

LOVE AND MISS YOU ALWAYS YOUR WEE SIS HELEN XXXXX

HA HA HA MY MUMMYS FAV POEM

i remember you used to quote this poem in your most poshest voice,,,,,,,ha ha had me and my daddy in stitches ,,,,,,but you thought you were great . .... i dont think you ever got beyond the first verse cause we were laughing so hard

A HOST OF GOLDEN DAFFODILS

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A Poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

A Mother's love

A last goodbye,
A kiss to the wind,
No one knows,
The pain I am in.

I ache to hold you,
To kiss your face,
And now you are gone,
Without a trace.

But memories I hold,
Deep in my heart,
My love remains strong,
We shall never be apart.

Fly with the angels,
And feel no more pain,
I will love you each moment,
Till we meet once again.

Roisin Morris (Daughter) January 19, 2009

its snowing tonight

If tiny little snow flakes
Land upon your face
It's hugs sent from heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.
